The research projects that are carried out arise from direct mandates from local industries and from cantonal and federal funding (Cantonal Office for Water Protection SPAAS, Federal Office for the Environment FOEN, Federal Office for Agriculture FOAG, Commission for Technology and Innovation CTI) and at European level.
At the educational level, the Laboratory is active within the Master of Science in Engineering MSE with the profile Energy & Environment with modules and projects related to environmental specialization.
