In particular, the Laboratory collaborates with the Microbial Ecology Group of the Microbiology Unit of the University of Geneva, sharing research projects and master's and doctorate work. The laboratory also serves as a scientific support to the Centro Biologia Alpina di Piora for activities related to environmental microbiology. With the CBA, we organise courses in collaboration with universities and cantonal institutes, promoting academic and research synergies.

 

The IM also plays a role in the professional training of trainees in biology and as a support to the upper middle level.
