Reteca Foundation
Reteca Foundation
The RETECA Foundation has been officially created in the year 2002 after the wish of Mr. Rainer Techow, electrical engineer. The foundation supports young engineers from developing countries in performing applied research in the field of electrical engineering during a stay of 12 months in Switzerland.

The scope is to train young engineers in such a way that the acquired competencies will bear fruit after their return to their countries of origin. In order to achieve these objectives, the RETECA Foundation signed on the 14th of April 2002 an agreement with the University of Applied Sciences and Arts of Southern Switzerland (SUPSI, www.supsi.ch). The applied character of the research activities run at the Swiss Universities of Applied Sciences makes SUPSI the ideal partner for the foundation.
