First Swiss Robotic Forum - trends and challenges in cobotics
13 December 2022
Switzerland Innovation Park - Biel / Bien
Prof. Anna Valente, head of the Automation, Robotics and Machines Laboratory (ARM), in collaboration with the Switzerland Innovation Park Biel/Bienne and the Swiss Academy of Applied Sciences (SATW), is organising the first Swiss robotics forum dedicated to trends and challenges in Cobot research.

Presentation

Cobots are intrinsically designed to safely interact with humans. But yet, the market response to such platforms is not meeting the expected big leap. The industrial and scientific communities identify a number of bottlenecks preventing a vast absorption of this technology, ranging from productivity to smooth programming.

The First Swiss Robotic Forum aims at discussing and addressing the key challenges that would enable a large scale adoption of cobots in the Swiss value chain bringing value to manufacturing while preserving human wellbeing.

Target Groups: the event will embrace a strong transdisciplinary expertise, namely experts from the robotic industry (robot builders, integrators and prospective users), technology suppliers, software developers and estimate members from academia.
