The Institute of Systems and Technologies for Sustainable Production has about 40 employees all located in the Manno offices and is part of the Department of Innovative Technologies. The staff covers a wide range of competences in industrial technologies applied to various sectors, contributing to the innovation of products, manufacturing processes and business models. The employees have both academic and industrial background, besides teaching, they are used to cooperate in European and National research projects as well as in applied research projects involving local industries.
